I dont understand why people are up-in-arms over the price of the app. ALL of the magazine apps are free in Newstand, and most with subscription fees inside. Just read the descriptions before assuming the world is free for you. Of course it costs money for magazines. Do you think just because its digital that everything is suddenly free? The magazine itself is solid. A solid reference if you are a photographer or a digital artist.

This magazine has great tutorials and projects for you to try out

Some bad moments

This app is not free - reading an ad for it is free. this app opens an ad for the magazine which costs $5.99 per issue.

This "app" forces you to register and log in before you can even see a sample issue. The registration process hangs and never goes through. Grade: F This represents everything thats wrong with the dinosaur print publishing industry and why its rapidly going extinct. Good riddance.

I see why people feel mislead. Apple should really charge straight up for episodes instead of offering a free app, and then asking people to pay to use it. Be transparent with your sales, Apple. Furthermore, the magazines need reader compatibility and the ability to read pages much like we can in Safari - by double tapping columns and having the zoom auto-fit. I wont be buying anymore issues of any magazine in newsstand until Apple makes these changes.

Dont get duped like I did. All this app does is provide you with a list of publications to which you can subscribe, for a fee!! Nothing about this app is free, as they advertise. I cant even find a way to delete it. If this is what the Apple Newsstand is all about, its a sham and a scam. Shame on you Apple!

This app is nothing but settings on the app and buying their other app magazines.... And they cost money.. I would recommend not getting this

What does free mean?something for nothing!!!you people dont even give a free preview!!!!! Dont waste the space on your phone
